Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 1 pm–12 am. Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Long Island City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I could only guess that that worker they tonight do not like black people I been in there maybe about over 30 times I work in the area and I like to get the Peach Oolong Lamon Tea the best I ever had but today I felt racially profiled, embarrassed and felt like a was less of a person the worker there tonight I literally made my order last and it being the easiest one to make after waiting for over 40mins because he had to do online order and the orders for the people that was ahead of me but making orders for the people that literally came in minutes after me before making mines i just felt racially profile like I was even there this makes the 3rd time this happened to me and I hate to say it be the only conclusion to this behavior is that worker not all of them but him don't like black people. And I been emailing the store owner and calling the number and they no to get in touch we management 😒 😑 crazy thing is i love going to this place for that drink just super heart breaking to think there's people out here with a racist mindset still.

I had a really great experience today thanks to the girl cashier I think her name was Ti something because that’s what I heard her coworker call her. She had such a kind and welcoming attitude from the moment I walked in. Even though it was a bit busy and the drinks took a little time, she stayed patient, friendly, and professional the whole time, which made the experience really pleasant. The drink was also really good fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly, i recommend the passion fruit lemon tea. Overall, great service and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Laankee Tea is a really good bubble tea spot. The drinks taste fresh and well made, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The flavors are balanced, not overly sweet, which I like. Overall, a solid place to grab bubble tea definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Love that Lankee finally opened in LIC! The Hong Kong–style milk tea is super smooth (the bottled silk stocking is my favorite) and pairs perfectly with Crispy Chicken next door. The Orleans chicken leg and popcorn chicken are juicy and crispy — such a good late-night combo. Convenient spot right by the subway, will definitely come back!
